The Cherokee County School District says it may be hiring several hundred teachers and dozens of school bus drivers and nutrition workers as it prepares for its annual job fair in March.

The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 7, at River Ridge High School, 400 Arnold Mill Road, Woodstock, according to a district announcement. Other available positions include school nurses, psychologists and speech language pathologists.

“Our teachers and support staff are the primary reason our school district is one of the best in Georgia, and we’re looking for another several hundred dedicated and caring educators and support staff to join our CCSD family,” said district Superintendent Brian V. Hightower.

The specific number of openings will depend on retirements and enrollment growth forecasts, the district said. Applications can be filled out prior to the fair at: https://bit.ly/388OPx2
