Calling the document "the gold standard in government financial reporting," Cherokee County School District officials announced the publication of their second Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.

Compiled by Chief Financial Officer Kenneth Owen and the Office of Financial Management, the report, for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2019, consolidates in a single place financial records such as budgets, audits and management reports.

“Completing this time-consuming report on behalf of the School Board is not required, but it shows our taxpayers how dedicated we are to responsible use of the resources they entrust to us,” said schools Superintendent Brian V. Hightower.

The report and other financial and operational records are available in the Open CCSD transparency section of the school district website: https://bit.ly/2sBQRpA
