Two suspects were arrested on suspicion of stealing an orange Dodge Charger and leading multiple law enforcement agencies on a chase through several jurisdictions Monday in northwest Atlanta and Fulton County.

The chase, beginning in East Point, ended southbound on I-285 at I-20 when a Georgia State Patrol trooper performed a PIT maneuver on the Charger,

Chandler confirmed a Georgia State Patrol report that the suspects then went running into nearby woods, where they were surrounded by several agencies taken into custody.

The incident led officials to block all southbound lanes on I-285, but they have since reopened, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.

No injuries have been reported in the incident.
