The Chamblee City Council will hold a work session and public hearing 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Chamblee Civic Center, 3540 Broad Street.

In addition to considering changes to the city’s animal control ordinances and a proposed ordinance dealing with soliciting and door-to-door sales, the council will discuss approving a P-card policy for elected officials, funding for the purchase of enhanced crosswalk signals and changing the distance requirements for the sale of on-premises alcohol consumption.

Also on the agenda is the consideration of approval of an agreement to explore creation of a town center.
