Chamblee police are hunting for a man who robbed a BB&T bank Tuesday.

The robber gave a note to a teller demanding she place only $100 and $50 dollar bills into a bag. He then fled on foot from the branch at 3361 Clairmont Road toward Buford Highway, Capt. Ernesto Ford said.

The robber is described as a white male, approximately 5-foot-7-inches tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and yellow baseball hat, Ford said.

Chamblee police ask anyone who believes they might recognize the robber to call 470-395-2413 with any information.
