Census office opens near Stone Mountain

The U.S. Census has opened one of its local offices near Stone Mountain for the upcoming decennial count.

The office, at 5474 Memorial Dr., will handle all Census recruiting, field operations and administration for DeKalb County during the 2010 Census, which begins in March. A 10-question form seeking age and number of residents at every address in a home must be returned to the Census by April 1.
