Nov 14, 2011

Cascade United Methodist Church's New Advent Choir will try to distribute groceries and Thanksgiving dinners to 500 Atlanta families through its "Thanksgiving Food Basket Project" on Nov. 21.

The Thanksgiving season begins with an annual concert by the 100 member choir at 6 p.m. Nov. 20.

Choir members will return to the church at 6 a.m. Monday to sort groceries and deliver them to waiting recipients from community organizations, area schools within the Cascade corridor and others who have expressed a need.
