Police have recovered three stolen cars of 10 that were taken from a Gwinnett County Audi dealership in late October, according to a department release.

Police initially said 12 customer cars worth $400,000 were stolen from Audi Gwinnett in Duluth, but “after further review of the case,” it was determined that the number of stolen cars was actually 10. The cars belonged to dealership customers and were at the dealership to be serviced.

The thieves took keys to the cars from a broken lock box between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Oct. 29. Police are unsure how the cars were transported from the dealership. The three recovered cars were found in DeKalb County over the past weekend, police said.

There are at least two suspects involved, but police have not identified either of them, or determined how many people may be involved.

Anyone with information on this theft is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.
