Atlanta police are searching for two suspects who carjacked a man with $20,000 cash inside his vehicle.

The victim, who picks up and delivers cash for ATM machines, was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday in the 1900 block of Perkerson Road SW in Atlanta, police said. The thieves drove off in his black Nissan Quest, which was later recovered in the 2800 block of Lakewood Avenue — sans cash.

Police said they have recovered video footage of the robbery and have spoken to a man who said he witnessed the carjacking.

The victim described the gunman as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s, of average height and lean build. He was wearing a mustard brown shirt with a baseball cap. The deliveryman did not get a good look at his accomplice.

A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the persons responsible. Anyone with information on the case can contact Crime Stoppers Atlanta by calling 404-577-8477, visiting the website at www.crimestoppersatlanta.org or texting CSA and the tip to 274637.
