A car overturned in a three-car collision Monday on Hammond Drive outside Perimeter Mall.

The man driving the overturned red Scion XD walked away from the crash unscathed, but the woman who hit him was taken to Northside Hospital with complaints of neck pain. The woman driving the third car was uninjured and was able to drive away from the crash.

The incident occurred around 11 a.m. when Hari Prasad Lamichhane, 44, drove through a stop sign at a mall exit while turning left onto eastbound Hammond Drive, said Sgt. Jason Dove of the Dunwoody Police Department.

A blue Chevrolet Aveo hit Lamichhane's passenger side, pushing him into the median. He then rolled over a knee-high berm and overturned.

"Just the angle [of the collision] is what caused it to roll over," Dove said.

The woman driving the Aveo then bounced into a car driving alongside her to her right.

Lamichhane was walking around his upside-down car after the crash. He said he thought the road was clear when he pulled into it.

"I don't know what happened," he said. Police cited him for failure to yield.
