Canton seeks suspect who broke into cars

Canton Police are seeking the public’s help as they search for the culprit who stole items from several vehicles.

Officers were dispatched to an “entering auto in progress” call early Monday at the River Ridge Apartment Complex off of Reinhardt College Parkway. The caller said that she found a young man in her vehicle and that the suspect fled when she yelled at him.

Police said they took additional reports involving entered vehicles throughout that day both at the apartment complex and along Oakside Drive adjacent to the apartments.
