Canton men face animal cruelty charges in hunting dogs’ deaths

Nov 3, 2017Two Cherokee County men are facing animal cruelty charges in connection with the shooting deaths of two hunting dogs, officials said.
Timothy Chattin and Aaron Cook, both of Canton, were arrested Sunday in Dawson County by officials with the Department of Natural Resources.
They allegedly shot hunting dogs after becoming aggravated that the dogs were chasing off deer, the sheriff’s office said.
