Fifty business leaders learned what it's like to run a school when they "shadowed" principals for a morning.

The event on Thursday was arranged by the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce and the DeKalb County School District, with the purpose of educating the community about school goals and performance measures.

Each business person was paired with a principal, and followed them through the school as the principals made their rounds.
