Former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, longtime political foes who were vilified by their opponents during their White House years, will debate Friday in Toronto, the Washington Times reported Thursday.

The motive appears to be more than their interest in public policy. Estimates for their appearance fees run as high as $150,000 apiece for the two-hour appearance, which is being billed as a "conversation," the Times said. Tickets for event at the city's convention center start at $250, with VIP tickets at $625 and the sold-out "emerald" section seats going for $2,500.

The event will be the second appearance by Bush since leaving office. Clinton is a veteran of the speaking tour, making $31 million in speaking fees between 2001 and 2005, the Times said.

Friday's event is being sponsored by the Power Within, a Toronto-based company affiliated with self-help guru Tony Robbins.
