Forsyth County Sheriff’s officials think they’ve cleared a number of burglaries with the arrest of a man in Newnan last week.

Two deputies traveled to Coweta County seeking Jamie Chappell, wanted in connection with a north Forsyth burglary earlier this month in which jewelry was taken. Deputies saw him leaving his girlfriend’s home, quickly arrested him, then searched the residence. They say they found stolen items from that burglary and from other recent break-ins, as well as stolen packages and various narcotics.

Chappell is jailed on multiple burglary counts.
