Burglars at a Snellville strip mall didn't take a snow day.

Store owners told wsbtv.com that criminals cut the phone lines to disable the alarms at the Scenic Highway mall sometime after Sunday night, then broke in.

Yum Yum Candies owner Sharon Mims said thieves broke her store's back window, tampered with the alarm and then broke through a wall to get into a T-Mobile cell phone store next door that was emptied, according to the news report.

Snellville police said they have no suspects but did recover evidence from the scene, and Mims said the stores hope to reopen Saturday.
