Burger 21's newest Gwinnett County location has officially opened its doors.

Burger 21, a Tampa-based restaurant chain known for handcrafted burgers and shakes, opened Monday at 1575 Scenic Highway in Snellville, city officials posted on Facebook. The new location is the chain's fourth metro Atlanta location — the others are in Buford, Johns Creek and Buckhead.

Company executives also have plans for additional locations in Alpharetta and Dunwoody, according to a previous AJC report.

Burger 21's menu features 21 specialty burgers called the Tex-Mex Haystack, Spicy Thai Shrimp, Black Bean and Chicken Marsala burgers.  A ribbon-cutting was held Monday before the Snellville location opened to the public.
