Both school districts in Gwinnett County are among Georgia’s best, according to a new ranking.

Buford City Schools was named the state's best district for the second year in a row by Niche.com. Gwinnett County Public Schools was No. 17 in this year's rankings, down from No. 13 last year.

The education and real estate analysis site uses data from districts and the U.S. Department of Education in conjunction with surveys from teachers, parents and students to determine their annual rankings.

Each district is given a report card from Niche. Buford schools got all As, with A+ grades for teachers, clubs and activities, administration, health and safety, sports and food; A grades for diversity, college preparation and resources and facilities; and an A- for academics. Gwinnett County got a B+ overall, with A+ grades for diversity and sports; an A in clubs and activities; an A- for college preparation; B+ grades for administration and food; and B grades for health and safety, teachers, academics and resources and facilities.
