DeKalb County Commissioners will hold a retreat Thursday to focus on hashing out the 2014 budget.
Interim CEO Lee May will prepare a recommended budget by mid-December, but the full commission must approve the spending plan. The daylong retreat is designed to lay out priorities and expectations, including calls for multi-year forecasting.
The retreat begins at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Porter Sanford performing arts center, 3181 Rainbow Dr., near Decatur.
