WhatCounts Inc., a Buckhead-based company that delivers email in more than 35 languages, has acquired Blue Sky Factory Inc., a Baltimore-based email marketing company.

The deal allows privately held WhatCounts to strengthen its marketing reach in providing email and social media solutions to business clients, President and Founder Allen Nance said in a release announcing the transaction. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“This acquisition strengthens our thought leadership, delivers proven email-social integration, and adds talent from the Blue Sky Factory team,” Nance said.

WhatCounts will gain 30 Blue Sky employees, giving the company around 100. Blue Sky CEO Greg Cangialosi told the Baltimore Business Journal that the company's Baltimore offices will become WhatCounts' Mid-Atlantic regional office. WhatCounts also has offices in Washington, D.C., Seattle and Sydney, Australia.
