Brush fire near Banneker High in South Fulton

Firefighters battled a brush fire next to Banneker High School in South Fulton County on Tuesday night, Channel 2 Action News said.

The fire, which stretched across five acres, threatened the school’s baseball and football fields, Channel 2 said. No damage was done to the school, and no injuries were reported, Channel 2 said.
