The Brookhaven Zoning Board of Appeals agreed to allow a variance for property at 2290 Fairway Circle during a recent meeting. The board approved the request to reduce the yard setback requirement from 30 feet to 10.5 feet to permit the owner to build a single family home.

Another application for 3096 Lanier Drive to construct a pool was discussed but not approved. The board ultimately approved the applicant’s request for a 30-day deferral, to modify the plan submitted to the board. The group will revisit this vote at the Jan. 18 zoning meeting. This variance request was originally deferred from the zoning meeting Oct 19.
