The qualifying period for Brookhaven City Council candidates will be Aug. 26 through Aug. 28.

Voters will elect for districts 2 and 4 in the November election.

Would-be candidates must file notice and pay a $360 fee to the Brookhaven City Clerk between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the qualifying period.
