Work on the Brookhaven Skyland Trail between Skyland Drive and Drew Valley Road has begun. The road has been closed due to storm sewer failure and progressing washout. Barrels, tape and barricades have been placed as caution for public safety.

Repair has begun on 2569 Skyland Trail. Further repairs and closures are expected to continue through Feb. 18, weather permitting. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to avoid the area.

The city will provide updates as they become available.
