A Brookhaven man is under arrest after taking pictures up a woman’s skirt, police said.
John Sinclair, 29, turned himself in to police headquarters, police spokesman Maj. Brandon Gurley said Monday in a statement.
Detectives said they were able to identify Sinclair because of tips they received after Sinclair’s picture was posted on social media and shared by news media.
“This case reflects the partnership between the residents of our community and our police department,” Interim Police Chief Juan Grullon said. “Without their help and their desire to keep Brookhaven safe, this case could have remained unsolved.”
Sinclair is being charged with felony peeping tom, Gurley said.
