The Brookhaven Parks & Recreation Department have made steady progress renovating the parks in the city. Renovations on Murphey Candler Park tennis courts started Monday.
The renovations include fence work, crack repair, court resurfacing, repair and painting of net posts, netting and court lines. Renovations being completed at the Briarwood and Lynwood tennis courts are scheduled to end this week and those courts are scheduled to reopen to the public on Saturday.
