Brookhaven Parks’ bridges completed

Brookhaven Parks and Recreation Department will reopen the new pedestrian bridges at two city parks this week. Both Briarwood Park, located at 2235 Briarwood Way, and Murphey Candler Park at 1551 West Nancy Creek Drive have new walker bridges completed and installed this month. The Briarwood bridge is located near the recreation center, and the Murphey Candler bridge is on the east side of the lake near the fishing pier and parking lot.

Both bridges will be open for public use by Tuesday.
