Brookhaven Parks & Recreation Department announced that parts of Georgian Hills Park, 2800 West Georgian Drive, will be closed to the public through Thursday, Aug. 13, for the removal of three trees and extensive trimming of three more nearest the two playgrounds. The tree removal and trimming is for the safety of park patrons and is limited to dead, diseased and dying trees. The work should be completed by the end of the day on Thursday.
