The Brookhaven City Council will discuss the 2017 budget during the regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Brookhaven City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road. The city will hold a public hearing to hear resident’s comments on the city’s proposed budget totalling $36,993,351. The last public hearing for the city will take place Nov. 9 before to city votes to adopt the budget.

The council will also discuss two grant programs, the Nancy Creek Grant application to Georgia Environmental and the United States Department of Justice Project Safe Neighborhoods Grant. The city submitted the grant application to the justice department previously in the year.
