Brookhaven will hold two meetings Thursday for residents to offer input on the budget and tax rate.

The $15.7 million budget calls for a 3.35 millage rate to cover the city’s operating costs for its first year. The rate cannot be raised without voter approval.

The public hearings will be held at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Brookhaven Municipal Court, 2 Corporate Blvd., Suite 125 Brookhaven.
