Pond & Company will soon begin an audit of Brookhaven’s citywide zoning map, which is missing several changes DeKalb County made before the city began operations last year.

The city will pay up to $10,000 for the work, which will include reviewing each parcel in the city. DeKalb does not map zoning for individual parcels, which helped lead to the inconsistencies.

The city plans to have a new zoning map ready for adoption later this year.
