The city of Brookhaven together with Sustainable Water Planning and Energy are developing a watershed plan for the Murphey Candler-Nancy Creek watershed. The study will assist the city in securing grant funds for projects to improve the watershed and minimize flooding. For the next few months, SWP&E professionals will be working in and along the streams and waterbodies throughout the Nancy Creek watershed.
