The city of Brookhaven will hold a series of meeting for its residents and business owners to discuss the character area study as outlined in the city’s Comprehensive Plan 2034. Sponsored by the Brookhaven Community Development Department, the meetings will continue throughout August to give citizens and stakeholders the chance to learn about the city and participate in decisions about shaping the city’s upcoming development. The study will result in more defined and specific guidelines for Brookhaven’s distinct districts.

All meetings take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the following dates and locations:

Aug. 18, 22, 29 and 30 at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 3110 Ashford Dunwoody Road.

Aug. 24 at Briarwood Park Recreation Center, 2235 Briarwood Way.

Aug. 31 at the Latin American Association, 2750 Buford Highway.
