Brookhaven has begun a project to address the accumulation of storm water. The city’s public works department started construction on a storm drain Monday to help alleviate street flooding on Windsor Parkway.

The work will place the storm drain at 1278 through 1308 Windsor Parkway between Osborne and Mabry Road, on the north side of the road only. The project is scheduled to take about three weeks, weather permitting.

The city advises residents that traffic disruption will be minimal during the construction period.
