Brookhaven appoints new finance director
Former Stockbridge city treasurer Linda Nabers has been named finance director for Brookhaven. CONTRIBUTED
The city of Brookhaven has announced that Linda Nabers has been appointed as its new finance director.
Nabers has been the treasurer of the city of Stockbridge since 2014. She spent the prior 10 years in the Finance Department of Rockdale County, including five years as Rockdale’s deputy finance director.
“Linda Nabers brings extensive knowledge and experience of governmental accounting and reporting requirements to the City of Brookhaven,” said City Manager Christian Sigman. “Brookhaven is already known for excellence in financial reporting. I am confident that Nabers will make us stronger and better in this critical government operation.”
