Bridge dedicated to fallen trooper

A bridge over the Chattahoochee River was dedicated to Georgia State Patrol trooper Chadwick T. LeCroy on Wednesday. LeCroy was killed in the line of duty in 2010.

The ceremony was held at the Ga. 280 bridge, which spans the Chattahoochee River from South Cobb Drive on the Cobb County side to James Jackson Parkway on the Fulton County side.

LeCroy, 38, was the eighth Georgia law enforcement officer to be killed in the line of duty in 2010. Law enforcement officers from several jurisdictions attended Wednesday's ceremony.
