Briarcliff organizers to hold meeting

The City of Briarcliff Initiative, organizers behind a cityhood effort in central DeKalb County, will hold a community meeting Thursday.

The group recently paid $30,000 to fund a feasibility study of the city, which will fit inside the Perimeter and I-85 and have an estimated 90,000 residents.

The informational meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Clairmont Hills Baptist Church, 1995 Clairmont Road, near Decatur.
