A local craft brewer and a car dealership have signed on as presenting sponsors of the 2018 Alive in Roswell, a free, city-hosted street festival held the third Thursday of the month from April through October.
Gate City Brewing Co. returns for a second year of sponsorship, joined this year by Carl Black Buick-GMC Roswell, city officials announced. Alive in Roswell is held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Canton Street and at the Historic Roswell Town Square, with an Interactive Zone at City Hall. Free trolley service will connect the venues.
The festival will offer live bands, interactive vendors and children’s games and entertainment. Local boutiques, small business and restaurants will participate. The event is hosted by the city and run by Atlanta Plays It Forward, a nonprofit whose management contract was renewed last November.
