The Braselton Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Braselton Police and Municipal Court Building, 5040 State Route 53 to consider an application for annexation and rezoning of two properties totaling about 77 acres at the intersection of Ga 53 and Braselton Parkway.

The plan requests re-zoning the two parcels into a split zoning of 9.53 acres for general commercial, 32.5 acres for multi-family housing, and 35.28 acres for manufacturing and distribution. The applicant, Stolz Partners, LLC, intends to develop the property for 240 multi-family units, six commercial parcels, and 499,200 square feet of warehouse/distribution space.

Assuming the request is approved, Braselton’s mayor and town council will hold a public hearing on the request at 4 p.m. Sept. 5.
