Following a recent public hearing, the Braselton Planning Commission recommended approval of a conditional use permit for a Four Seasons Auto Wash Express at the southwest corner of Highway 53 and Braselton Parkway.

The proposed automatic, tunnel type car wash on 1.16 acres will be an outparcel to a larger development adjacent to the property.

Approval by the planning commission comes with conditions including a requirement the project will adhere to design recommendations regarding the Exchange Way/Braselton Parkway intersection. The project must also include a strip of trees, evergreen shrubs, and groundcover and a minimum 4-foot high masonry wall or fence with wooden or iron pickets along Highway 53.

Before final approval, Braselton’s mayor and town council will hold a public hearing on the request at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5 at the Braselton Police and Municipal Court Building, 5040 State Route 53.
