Braselton’s new parking deck project is nearing completion at the corner of Highway 53 and Davis Street. BM&K is the design-build engineer for the approximately 270 new spaces over 4 levels.
The new deck, which mixes the architectural styles of the Historic Braselton Brothers Store and the adjoining Municipal Complex, will merge multiple tracts, reduce several environmental issues and accommodate a Regional Windstream tele-communications facility. The parking deck is the first step toward construction of a new Downtown Civic Center for Braselton with the long-term plan to bring more events and visitors to Historic Downtown.
The parking deck is partially funded through Jackson County SPLOST and the remainder with Braselton Urban Development Agency bonds. Parking will be free to the public.
