Braselton’s Main Street program has earned recertification for meeting rigorous performance standards set by the National Main Street Center. Main Street America helps revitalize older and historic commercial districts with the Center recognizing exemplary commitment to preservation-based economic development and community revitalization. Braselton first achieved this status in 2015.

“Once again, we met the challenging standards to reach the recertification level, and we enjoy the staff and volunteer training, resources, project funding and generous support from state and national economic development programs,” said Braselton Main Street director, Amy Pinnell.

The National Main Street Center review criteria determines communities that are building comprehensive and sustainable revitalization efforts that include standards such as fostering public-private partnerships, documenting progress and actively preserving historic buildings.
