Kamakshi Veenanadh Srimath Tirumala Gudimella of Atlanta earned a Master of Engineering, Computer Engineering degree at the University of Iowa during summer graduation.

Dr. James Morrow of Morrow Family Medicine has been awarded the 2019 Distinguished Humanitarian Physician Alumni Award from the University of South Carolina's School of Medicine.

Johnny Walther, of Atlanta, was named Presbyterian College's 2019 Mary F. Lehman Alumni Service Award recipient. The award recognizes Walther's outstanding meritorious service rendered to his alma mater.

Cherokee County School District’s School Nutrition program for the third consecutive year has earned the Platinum Golden Radish Award, the highest honor for farm-to-school initiatives.
