Whitewater High's healthcare science instructor Julie Wolf has been appointed to Georgia's Health Occupations Students of America Executive Board.

Emilia Isabel Suarez of Decatur graduated with a degree in Integrated Science and Technology from The Graduate School at James Madison University during the Aug. 4, 2018 graduate school commencement exercises.

Trevor Ramos, athletics Manager for the city of Sandy Springs was recognized as Programmer of the Year for District 7 by the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association.

Cherokee County School's Creekview High School American Sign Language teacher Andrea Sheldon is among the select group of teachers from across Georgia selected to represent their profession on the State School Superintendent's Teacher Advisory Council.
