Austin Peay State University announced high-achieving freshmen who have been offered the Presidential Scholarship for the Fall 2019 semester: Raegan Claunch of Douglasville, Meghan Hankla of Lawrenceville, Chase Ledgerwood of Villa Rica, Lexi Somoza of Cumming, Zara Imam of Alpharetta, Kennia James of Covington, Adam Laselva of Woodstock and Bill Xiao of Alpharetta. The Presidential Scholarships are for freshman students who have a 3.0+ GPA and 29 ACT or 1290 SAT.

Paideia alum Dean Farris '16 broke the American 200 freestyle record with a swim of 1:29:15 at the NCAA Men's Championship in Austin, Texas. Farris went on to win Harvard's first NCAA title in 30 years with a 43.66 finish in the 100 backstroke. Farris, a junior, is the first Harvard man to win an individual NCAA title in swimming and diving since 1989. Farris was a four-year swimmer at Paideia.

Emma Johnson of Canton was honored in April with recognition for President's Club senior membership at 2019 Golden Bishop Awards for Ohio Wesleyan University.
