Peyton Balent, Joe Carter, Owen Doherty, Michael Dotson, McCord Grice, Myles Jones, Will Morlan, Bruce Murphy, Blake Parkman, Deven Patel, Jake Peacock and Will Stakel of Team Georgia of Alpharetta along with their team captain, Tom Joyce Jr. and their assistant coach, Terry Peacock placed second at the 2015 PGA Junior League Golf championship.

Timothy Riesz of Atlanta completed his cycling journey, The Love of Bill Tour, which stretched over 2,600 miles from Newport Beach to Tybee Island between Oct. 29 and Nov. 23. He completed the journey during National Pancreatic Cancer Awareness month in honor of his uncle Bill who died of the disease.

Vince Williams, mayor of Union City, was elected to the National League of Cities 2016 Board of Directors at the 2015 Congress of Cities & Exposition held in Nashville.

Bruni Flammia of Braselton, Caitlin Donnelly of Dacula and Chantele Berry of Loganville completed a term of service in FEMA Corps.

Roy J. Lewis of Atlanta graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Carter Garrison of Alpharetta, Kathryn Kaish of Marietta, Abigail Gordon of Newnan and Kasey Shepp of Roswell were inducted into the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi at Auburn University.

Cole Hanks, a Holy Innocents' Episcopal School alumnus, was selected for the University of South's Carey Fellowships for his strong academic background and commitment to declare a minor in business.

Kelly Buchanan of Lawrenceville was initiated into the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi at Augusta University.

Lindsay Horn, Alexa Levy and Anika Parashar of Paideia School have passed the first audition for the All-State Concert and Symphonic bands, which qualifies them to be members of the District Honor band.
