At the Nov. 15 Board of Commissioners regular meeting, Forsyth County Commissioners Dennis Brown, Cindy Jones Mills and Laura Semanson were recognized for the completion of their continuing education requirements within the Association County Commissioners of Georgia Lifelong Learning Academy.

Karthik Ramaswami from Alpharetta was a member of Emerson College's winning team in the Duo Interpretation Category at the regional International Public Debate Association tournament held at Saint Anselm College in Goffstown, NH during the first weekend in November.
