Officials with Henry County Schools reported the latest in a series of charitable acts on behalf of students the first week of May in the form of a donation of books by the Real Leaders Read Initiative for students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
Ariel Shaw, the organization’s founder, provided the latest donation for the district’s young learners at Stockbridge Middle School, where books were available on a first-come, first-serve basis. A total of 500 books were made available to elementary students and divided up according to the corresponding age of the recipient. Dozens of titles were shared, offering a wide variety from which students could choose.
Shaw, owner of Ariel Shaw Consulting, noted her passion for helping students in the community and the reason for the donation.
