Booker T. Washington’s great-granddaughter to speak at event

Robin Washington Banks, great-granddaughter of Booker T. Washington, will speak at a historic preservation event at 1 p.m. on May 7 at Sweetwater Library, in the Threadmill Mall Complex. The event, called “Remembering My Father: A Tuskegee Airman,” will also include exhibit display panels “The Tuskegee Airman: the Segregated Skies of World War II” from the Kennesaw State University Museum of History and Holocaust Education.
