Gwinnett County police are investigating theft that occurred Tuesday when a man snatched an e-book reader from a 63-year-old woman and shoved her to the ground.

The victim was exiting her car outside of the pool at Arbors at Breckinridge apartment complex in Duluth when the thief pushed her down, grabbed a NOOK Book from her hands and ran away. The victim, who had undergone heart surgery June 7, told police she was dazed but unhurt. The victim was surprised by the thief and was not able to provide a good description of him, according to the police report.
